The Sweetheart Flare Design candle is a popular choice for use as a unity candle during wedding ceremonies. The design is classic and a more contemporary preference for many brides. Sweeping vertical ribbons of wax are topped by hearts, which encircle the top of this candle on the large size. The medium and small size Sweetheart Flare Design candles do not have the large hearts around the top, but have hearts near the bottom of the candle instead.
We now offer a choice of embellishments for the Sweetheart Flare design candle. Your choices are wax hearts, seashells or clay roses. Click here to see a detailed view of these choices.
Sweetheart Flare candles are available with or without personalization. Plaques are used to personalize the Sweetheart Flare candles; the Inlay is not an option. Non-personalized Sweetheart Flare Design candles can be ordered online in the White, Ivory & White or Meringue colors. We have examples of colors on our color chart page. For personalized candles, or custom colors please order by phone at 1-800-238-8467. We can help "talk" you through the many custom options available to complete your order. Personalization adds $10 to $15 to the price of this candle, depending on the options chosen.

And for our customers who really don’t want any part of lighting their new candle, we can pre-drill the well for you so that when you get the candle, it is all ready for a votive insert. If you select the "Pre-Drill Well" option, we will drill a well approximately 2 inches deep into the top of your candle to accommodate a regular votive candle or an LED votive insert, allowing you to skip the process of burning the well out yourself. *Once a candle has a pre-drilled well, the wick is gone and the actual candle cannot be lit.
